This year to celebrate our ‘Wythnos Cymreig/ Welsh Week’ we are celebrating the ‘215th anniversary of the Mumbles Railway’ (it carried the world's first fare-paying railway passengers in 1807.) As a school we learned about the history of the Mumbles Railway, producing stories and artwork, looking toward a possible new future for tram travel in Swansea.
