GAELIC FOOTBALL - All British Championships this year in London.

Dear Parent/Carer Your Child has been selected to play for St Joseph’s Gaelic football teams that will compete at the All British Championships this year in London. The Primary Schools tournament will take place at the Tir Chonaill Gaels grounds Greenford, London (UB6 0NZ), on Thursday 12th of July. 10.30am - 2.30pm. Please note we will not be entering into central London at anytime on the trip. The coach will be leaving the school (top of lane at bus top) on Thursday 12th of July at 5.45am returning traffic permitting, by 7.00pm. All children will need to attend school on Friday in order that we can attend future championships. Any parents wishing to travel please indicate below. A contribution of £15.00 is required from all travelling to cover the cost of transport to the venue. If your child is unable to attend please let us know asap so we can give the place to another child. On the day Children will require; • a packed lunch and drinks appropriate for a full day out. • Appropriate football boots/trainers and kit for football, towel and rain gear suncream, sunhats etc. • Any inhalers, epi pens, etc. • Kit will be provided before the 12th, please ensure child wears it on the day. • Gum shields are advisable. All travelling are reminded that Gaelic football ‘Go Games’ are operated on the “give respect get respect” motto.
