Fr Saji and Canon Pelosi visited on Monday to bless the bell and plaque for Macsen's mum and the school mural in memory of Joyal George.
The Urdd came to school today to work with Years 3 - 6 to continue to develop their outdoor learning skills. Years 5 & 6 have been Den making and team building and Years 3 & 4 orienteering. It was a lovely, dry day and all pupils enjoyed collaborating and problem-solving using our outdoor areas.
The Mini Vinnies are continuing to produce a weekly reflection for us during Lent, to help us prepare for Holy Week.
Week 2 - her is the second week of Lenten reflections prepared by our Mini Vinnies. Thank you to them and Ms Torrance.
Mrs Weaver arranged our very first Bard ceremony for the best poetry writer in Year 6. Mila Monks was the well-deserved winner for her poem about Aberavon and was crowned Bard.
Each week during Lent, the Mini Vinnies will prepare and share a special reflection.
These reflections are designed to help us all think about how we can live out the values of compassion, kindness and humility in our daily lives.
By coming together and reflecting on these important themes, we can grow closer to God and support one another on our faith journey.
