Year 3 and 4 Learn Lifesaving Skills with ‘Restart a Heart’
Our Year 3 and 4 classes took part in a very special live video event called Restart a Heart, in partnership with Save a Life Cymru. The session helped us understand the vital work that emergency services do when someone experiences a cardiac arrest.
The children were taught important lessons about CPR and what steps to take if they ever see someone who needs urgent help. We learned how to recognise an emergency, call for help, and why every second counts when saving a life.
The event was both engaging and educational, giving our pupils a real sense of responsibility and confidence. It reminded us that even young people can make a difference in an emergency situation.
A big thank you to Save a Life Cymru for delivering such an inspiring session—we all came away with skills and knowledge that could help save lives in the future.
