To honour Our Lady during her special month of May, we had a May procession and crowning of Our Lady at St Benedict’s' after Ascension Thursday Mass. We usually crown Our Lady in the school yard. However, the weather was forecast to be very wet, so Years 1–6 went to Mass, and Nursery & Reception had their own special procession and crowning at school.

We all brought in our rosaries to say a decade of the rosary, and we brought flowers to lay at Our Lady's statues.
